[comment_not] => - The start of our charter was disappointing due to the berth - far from Bodrum. This berth cannot be a charter port, but simply a waiting place outside of a charter. Problem was solved by later crossing to Bodrum.
- The gület needs a refit in several places. Worth mentioning here are teak work on the deck and railing, painting work on the hull, in the bathrooms (does it really need a whirlpool bathtub or wouldn't a large shower make more sense? Is the salon really suitable for charter guests to settle down there? Wouldn't be on the Fly another comfortable bench better than a whirlpool? The tender with 70 HP is too weak for water skiing (100 HP is actually standard), the beds in the 4 guest cabins are not really comfortable, should be converted into a double bed and the bedding can be improved.
- Unfortunately, the news didn't get through that we have a guest with lactose problems.
- It must be clear that the Sultan is about 15-20% more expensive compared to other comparable boats (which are also larger but do not have a flybridge).

[comment_not] => I wish internet was available more but I don’t want to sacrifice quality of places we visit so if they just don’t have signal it is ok but if modem router could be upgraded and antenna attached to it and lifted to the mast using coax cable next to satellite or inside mast where other antennas that would maximize signal reception. Next year will they have SpaceX Starlink on boat?
Get better yoga mat. I know it is far fetch but I’d like to have fishing spear or fishing gun on board (if this allowed).

(2) The crew was very discreet, smiling, kind and friendly. Top chef, top sailors: everybody really did his best. The only remark is that communication could have been better with more/better English between the crew
(3) The boat was very comfortable, spacious, new and enjoyable, even if the SAT-TV /Track vision device didn't work (was already broken when we boarded the yacht)
[comment_not] => (1) The only critic to the crew (already stressed to the Captain while on boat), is that nobody warned us about the weather conditions we were about to face: we started our itinerary from Kos to Leros on Monday 5 Aug facing very strong NW head-wind and 2mt++ waves: the ladies on board were VERY scared and did not want to sail anymore unless in perfect conditions. I am sure we were never in any danger but those were clearly NOT NORMAL WEATHER CONDITIONS (the crew was taking pictures of the waves crashing on the bow of the boat while the ladies on board were dead scared and praying to make it safely to the shore...! The crew should have known about that (weather forecasts are available to everyone these days) and at least ask us in advance whether we wanted to sail anyway or to wait for calmer sea conditions/different itinerary etc
(2) On the taxi Transport back to the airport we almost lost our flight thanks to late taxi arrival at our pickup place on Bodrum. Furthermore, the driver dropped us out at the WRONG TERMINAL..we have had to run by foot with bags between terminals to catch the flight. I would expect the driver to be properly instructed about out Terminal, given that all the flight information have been given to the driver.

You can not often turn off the generator by depriving guests of Wi-Fi and anything else .example the ruter being electronic equipment must first be turned off to remove power then turned on again but continuing to do this operation sooner or later it burns an obvious problem with a continuity module spending about 80 euros another example sometimes you did transfers at reduced speed probably to save on consumption

The pros of the Gul Sultan:
The lovely, well-meaning crew who do their best and are very knowledgeable about the local area
The food was wide-ranging and beautifully prepared.

The boat has a foul smell that makes a few of the rooms unusable. It’s overpowering. We could not use the master room for two nights as you could not breathe in there. They try and mask the smell with many air fresheners but it doesn’t make a difference, only exacerbating the problem.
The air conditioning was not working for a great deal of the trip. Our group could not sleep for a few nights as the heat in the cabins was unbearable.
The boat is unclean and in need of a lot of maintenance. There was dirt, dust and toothpaste marks in the bathrooms upon arrival.
The amenities are sub-standard to say the least. There is no soap available and only some watered down small bottles of unbranded shampoo.
The laundry and towels were often returned damp.
The boat owner was completely unwilling to address any of these issues with us.

As I said, we have now booked the Sultan for the second time, mainly because of the captain Mustafa but also because of the flybridge. For this we have also accepted a higher price compared to other gülets.
This time it wasn't just the captain who shone, but the entire team. The boss was better than last year, always put together high-quality, varied food and the cleanliness and attentiveness of all crew members were also perfect.
Since we already knew the route to D Maris and wanted to do it again, it was nice that Mustafa had selected other interesting bays for us.
Since I have sailed through Turkey, Greece and the Mediterranean with my own team for many years, I appreciate the importance of the quality of the team and agency. There are hardly any criticisms here. We properly discussed the points that needed to be improved or changed and found good solutions.
Result: We would be happy to come back if: The captain and crew compete with the same quality and the ship receives some upgrades.
[comment_not] => - The start of our charter was disappointing due to the berth - far from Bodrum. This berth cannot be a charter port, but simply a waiting place outside of a charter. Problem was solved by later crossing to Bodrum.
- The gület needs a refit in several places. Worth mentioning here are teak work on the deck and railing, painting work on the hull, in the bathrooms (does it really need a whirlpool bathtub or wouldn't a large shower make more sense? Is the salon really suitable for charter guests to settle down there? Wouldn't be on the Fly another comfortable bench better than a whirlpool? The tender with 70 HP is too weak for water skiing (100 HP is actually standard), the beds in the 4 guest cabins are not really comfortable, should be converted into a double bed and the bedding can be improved.
- Unfortunately, the news didn't get through that we have a guest with lactose problems.
- It must be clear that the Sultan is about 15-20% more expensive compared to other comparable boats (which are also larger but do not have a flybridge).

I like paddle boards, yoga mat, fishing rods and kayak too. I liked sailing without motor as well.
I like very much that our wishes for food selection were addressed and food was great, thanks to great cook.
The most I like incredible crew which encapsulate us in their constant care with captain taking lead in this care. That was amazing.
I like how good was everything starting-ending from the airport to boat transfer.
[comment_not] => I wish internet was available more but I don’t want to sacrifice quality of places we visit so if they just don’t have signal it is ok but if modem router could be upgraded and antenna attached to it and lifted to the mast using coax cable next to satellite or inside mast where other antennas that would maximize signal reception. Next year will they have SpaceX Starlink on boat?
Get better yoga mat. I know it is far fetch but I’d like to have fishing spear or fishing gun on board (if this allowed).
I like to have means against wasps and flies on board. Like traps they go in but can’t go out. Burning coffee is not very effective.

(2) The crew was very discreet, smiling, kind and friendly. Top chef, top sailors: everybody really did his best. The only remark is that communication could have been better with more/better English between the crew
(3) The boat was very comfortable, spacious, new and enjoyable, even if the SAT-TV /Track vision device didn't work (was already broken when we boarded the yacht)
[comment_not] => (1) The only critic to the crew (already stressed to the Captain while on boat), is that nobody warned us about the weather conditions we were about to face: we started our itinerary from Kos to Leros on Monday 5 Aug facing very strong NW head-wind and 2mt++ waves: the ladies on board were VERY scared and did not want to sail anymore unless in perfect conditions. I am sure we were never in any danger but those were clearly NOT NORMAL WEATHER CONDITIONS (the crew was taking pictures of the waves crashing on the bow of the boat while the ladies on board were dead scared and praying to make it safely to the shore...! The crew should have known about that (weather forecasts are available to everyone these days) and at least ask us in advance whether we wanted to sail anyway or to wait for calmer sea conditions/different itinerary etc
(2) On the taxi Transport back to the airport we almost lost our flight thanks to late taxi arrival at our pickup place on Bodrum. Furthermore, the driver dropped us out at the WRONG TERMINAL..we have had to run by foot with bags between terminals to catch the flight. I would expect the driver to be properly instructed about out Terminal, given that all the flight information have been given to the driver.

The crew should have known about that (weather forecasts are available to everyone these days) and at least ask us in advance whether we wanted to sail anyway or to wait for calmer sea conditions/different itinerary etc
(2) On the taxi Transport back to the airport we almost lost our flight thanks to late taxi arrival at our pickup place on Bodrum. Furthermore, the driver dropped us out at the WRONG TERMINAL..we have had to run by foot with bags between terminals to catch the flight. I would expect the driver to be properly instructed about out Terminal, given that all the flight information have been given to the driver.

We risked shipwreck because we remained in the middle of the sea without diesel. He said he had no faults but you can't take a 10-day cruise with 400/500 liters of diesel (so he said) when the boat contains 6000 it is clear that sooner or later the dirt of the diesel clogs the filters and the engines are turned off. dictated by my modest matured experience, (also having worked as a young man for passion at a construction site), of sailing both with motor and matured over the years having begun to navigate both with my own boats and with those of friends, representing a safety for them, long and wide for the Tyrrhenian from the age of 20years now I am 70 still going to the sea. Lastly, you can't not have on board a minimum of spare parts, see filters straps sleeves eq for another intervention I would like to know what was written on the logbook that must report day after day the various events of the fateful day in which we remained in the sea fortunately there was absolute calm of wind and flat sea

The air conditioning was not working for a great deal of the trip. Our group could not sleep for a few nights as the heat in the cabins was unbearable.
The boat is unclean and in need of a lot of maintenance. There was dirt, dust and toothpaste marks in the bathrooms upon arrival.
The amenities are sub-standard to say the least. There is no soap available and only some watered down small bottles of unbranded shampoo.
The laundry and towels were often returned damp.
The boat owner was completely unwilling to address any of these issues with us.

The vacation was wonderful for us. We had the opportunity to actively shape the trip with the captain; The service was good - and we were an uncomplicated "team" - and that's what we want to be. We look forward to the next time and hope that a little is invested and the prices are right. Like: As discussed in detail, we would be happy to provide you, the owner of the Sultan and the captain with our summary of our trip.
As I said, we have now booked the Sultan for the second time, mainly because of the captain Mustafa but also because of the flybridge. For this we have also accepted a higher price compared to other gülets.
This time it wasn't just the captain who shone, but the entire team. The boss was better than last year, always put together high-quality, varied food and the cleanliness and attentiveness of all crew members were also perfect.
Since we already knew the route to D Maris and wanted to do it again, it was nice that Mustafa had selected other interesting bays for us.
Since I have sailed through Turkey, Greece and the Mediterranean with my own team for many years, I appreciate the importance of the quality of the team and agency. There are hardly any criticisms here. We properly discussed the points that needed to be improved or changed and found good solutions.
Result: We would be happy to come back if: The captain and crew compete with the same quality and the ship receives some upgrades. Dislike: - The start of our charter was disappointing due to the berth - far from Bodrum. This berth cannot be a charter port, but simply a waiting place outside of a charter. Problem was solved by later crossing to Bodrum.
- The gület needs a refit in several places. Worth mentioning here are teak work on the deck and railing, painting work on the hull, in the bathrooms (does it really need a whirlpool bathtub or wouldn't a large shower make more sense? Is the salon really suitable for charter guests to settle down there? Wouldn't be on the Fly another comfortable bench better than a whirlpool? The tender with 70 HP is too weak for water skiing (100 HP is actually standard), the beds in the 4 guest cabins are not really comfortable, should be converted into a double bed and the bedding can be improved.
- Unfortunately, the news didn't get through that we have a guest with lactose problems.
- It must be clear that the Sultan is about 15-20% more expensive compared to other comparable boats (which are also larger but do not have a flybridge).

It was best accommodating as I remember. Thank you so much for great vacation. Like: On the boat, I like the most upper deck being shaded with tents and the toilet have bidet valve, these were great.
I like paddle boards, yoga mat, fishing rods and kayak too. I liked sailing without motor as well.
I like very much that our wishes for food selection were addressed and food was great, thanks to great cook.
The most I like incredible crew which encapsulate us in their constant care with captain taking lead in this care. That was amazing.
I like how good was everything starting-ending from the airport to boat transfer. Dislike: I wish internet was available more but I don’t want to sacrifice quality of places we visit so if they just don’t have signal it is ok but if modem router could be upgraded and antenna attached to it and lifted to the mast using coax cable next to satellite or inside mast where other antennas that would maximize signal reception. Next year will they have SpaceX Starlink on boat?
Get better yoga mat. I know it is far fetch but I’d like to have fishing spear or fishing gun on board (if this allowed).
I like to have means against wasps and flies on board. Like traps they go in but can’t go out. Burning coffee is not very effective.

The pros of the Gul Sultan:

The food was wide-ranging and beautifully prepared. Dislike: The cons:
The boat has a foul smell that makes a few of the rooms unusable. It’s overpowering. We could not use the master room for two nights as you could not breathe in there. They try and mask the smell with many air fresheners but it doesn’t make a difference, only exacerbating the problem.
The air conditioning was not working for a great deal of the trip. Our group could not sleep for a few nights as the heat in the cabins was unbearable.
The boat is unclean and in need of a lot of maintenance. There was dirt, dust and toothpaste marks in the bathrooms upon arrival.
The amenities are sub-standard to say the least. There is no soap available and only some watered down small bottles of unbranded shampoo.
The laundry and towels were often returned damp.
The boat owner was completely unwilling to address any of these issues with us.
