That was a pity, especially because Mamaris is beautiful, but rather aimed at a mass audience. There are so many beautiful other harbor towns.
3. Pick up from Gerd Benz on Tuesday

The boat / gulet and the comfort on board were very good, the entire crew was always extremely polite and friendly and took great care of us and the tour also took us to truly beautiful bays. I just wanted to say - also on behalf of my friends - that our Gulet tour was perfect. We had a great time and loved the boat, the tour and especially the crew. Mert, Ekrem, Ramazan and Baki were a great team and they were great hosts! The food, as I expected and hoped, was great. So, really we have nothing to complain (okay, we ran out of beer and red wine, but the crew filled it up quickly)
My friends, most of them have been in Turkey for the first time in their life, were so positivly surprised by the nature, the food, the weather, the coast/water and of course the friendlyness and hospitality of the Turkish people. Some of them considered to charter a Gulet with their families in the future. So we hope that things in Turkey "will get back to normal" quickly and the people can live peacefully together. We would love to come back one day.

On this tour we had only the last two evenings the port of Marmaris driven, where we also had to pay the 1 x port fee of 150 € extra. We could have been informed about this in advance, then we would have planned the tour differently. That this is generally so that you mostly stay at sea, we could not go out on the basis of previous experience. That was a pity, especially because Mamaris is beautiful, but rather aimed at a mass audience. There are so many beautiful other harbor towns.

That everything worked out, very good! But that he flies extra to Bodrum, so that we can take him in Bodrum and then turns out that our gulet tour does not go to Bodrum at all and he is instead driven three hours through the area, that was already very unhappy. With a little better planning that would not have happened.

Merhaba Erkan, I am now back in Germany and finally find the time to send you an email.
I just wanted to say - also on behalf of my friends - that our Gulet tour was perfect. We had a great time and loved the boat, the tour and especially the crew. Mert, Ekrem, Ramazan and Baki were a great team and they were great hosts! The food, as I expected and hoped, was great. So, really we have nothing to complain (okay, we ran out of beer and red wine, but the crew filled it up quickly)
My friends, most of them have been in Turkey for the first time in their life, were so positivly surprised by the nature, the food, the weather, the coast/water and of course the friendlyness and hospitality of the Turkish people. Some of them considered to charter a Gulet with their families in the future. So we hope that things in Turkey "will get back to normal" quickly and the people can live peacefully together. We would love to come back one day.
Attached two pictures with the request to forward it to Mert, Ekrem, Ramazan and Baki. They really did a great job and without the crew, our trip would not have been as great as it was.
