Bodrum

Boarding starts at 15:30 pm at Bodrum Harbour. On the first day, our gulet will remain anchored at the Bodrum Port for dinner and stay here overnight. Early arriving guests can leave their luggage at our office.

Bodrum has a history that goes back to the 12th century B.C. The city was called 'Halicarnassus' and was the birthplace of Herodotus the 'Father of History' who lived here in the 5th century B.C. The Mausoleum of King Mausolus (350 B.C.), which is one of the Seven Wonders of the World, is also located in this city. The only structure that has survived from the classical era is the Amphitheatre. It is one of the oldest theatres in Anatolia with a seating capacity of 13, 000 guests and is still hosting many shows and concerts for the art-lovers of Bodrum.

Another place that you should visit when you arrive in Bodrum is the landmark of the city the 'Castle of Saint Peter'. It is one of the best-preserved pieces of architecture with a history dating back to the Middle Ages. Myndos Gate through which Alexander the Great entered Halicarnassus is another place that you should not miss! After dinner, if you can socialize with other guests on the gulet to visit a fun bar at Bodrum Bar Street. Bodrum is very famous for its vibrant nightlife.

2 Day

Mersincik Bay

After breakfast, you will be informed about the cruise itinerary and the gulet. Then we will start to cruise to Mersincik Bay early in the morning. On the southern side of Datca, surrounded by forests, is the amazing Mersincik Bay. With yellow sand beaches and the clearest of blue waters, this is one of the yachting scenes favorite stops in the area. The locals call it Mersincik Limanı, and you will enjoy plunging into these waters as you take a short respite from sailing.

Palamutbuku

Cruise to this, the most western anchorage in the Gulf of Hisaronu. Palamutbuku is well known for its sparkling clean sea, fresh fish, and delicious locally grown almonds which are produced locally. This amazing quiet town is home to some of the most desired long and quiet beaches, green streets, and walled gardens. Like a fairytale town come to life, as you walk along the seaside and look down into some of the clearest waters in the Aegean. In fact, you can walk well into the sea, and be able to see every stone and fish around your feet even when the waters reach head high.

3 Day

Aktur Bay

After breakfast, we will cruise to Aktur Bay. Aktur bay in the Datca peninsula has received an amazing accolade as the best bay in Turkey. This is some achievement and should not be discounted. Aktur is located between Datca and Kurucabuk and is the narrowest part of the peninsula. Two spheres of water held at bay by a slim slice of land.  The Persian army back in 550BC (Xerxes and the 300) built a tunnel so he could connect directly to the Gulf of Gokova to speed up his fleets attacking capabilities. Today Aktur bay is a vision of beauty that many try to emulate, perhaps that is why it is awarded so highly.

Bencik Bay

Bencik Bay resembles a miniature fjord. The inlet extends inland about 1.5 nautical miles and has steep wooded slopes on either side. Bencik is located at the narrowest part of the peninsula that divides the Hisaronu Gulf from the Gokova Gulf. The crosswinds in this region are excellent for sailing.

4 Day

Emel Sayin Bay

After breakfast, we will anchor at Emel Sayin Bay. Here you can enjoy swimming. Named after the famous Turkish singer, Emil Sayin bay is an amazing crystal clear aquamarine bay that is contrasted against thick pine trees covering the land around it. The bay was named after her beautiful blue eyes and is a memorable place for a lovely cool swim and brunch.

Orhaniye Bay

For lunch, we will dock in Orhaniye. Orhaniye is in the Bozburun peninsula near Marmaris and is home to one of the most attractive beaches in all of Turkey, Kizkumu beach. Orhaniye provides you with access to the famous castle of the black night, as well as a lovely village filled with a deep cultural heritage. The village is also renowned for its amazing variety of food that draws tourists from far and wide. The dock is always busy and the bay is always full of yachts coming and going from this world-class resort.

Selimiye Bay

Our final destination will be Selimiye where we will have dinner and stay for the night. Selimiye village seems as though it was frozen in time.

In the Gulf of Hisaronu lies the village of Selimiye. What can be added to the already pantheon of words praising this amazing location? One of the most prominent and distinctive natural phenomena occurs during sunset when the villages color changes into a deep red. There is an ancient Hellenistic castle south of the village and there is a tomb situated around 100 meters offshore. The tomb has been a guide for shipping for centuries. Selimiye offers a lighthouse, theater and monastery as well as its pristine waters and amazing local cuisine. The village is a farming town as well, and the local produce is collected and served alongside the freshly caught seafood. All prepared and provided alongside a great local wine.

5 Day

Dirsekbuku

Nestled between the Gulf of Hisonaru and the Aegean Sea is Dirsekbuku. This area has a lot of sheltered bays and hidden coves and is a great spot for a stop over while sailing from Bodrum to Marmaris.  There are quite a number of small islands to sail by and anchor off for a swim, or just to laze away the time relaxing with a perfect view.

Bozburun

Bozburun is used to be the center of sponge diving along the Turkish coast, but nowadays locals here earn their living in a much less dangerous way by building the typical broad-beamed wooden gulets. This is a quiet port town, and the way to reach it is as picturesque as the town itself.

6 Day

Datca

We will cruise to Datca. Food and water will be supplied to the gulet from Datca Harbour. Datca was founded by the Dorians who came from the Aegean Sea to the southern coast of Ionia in the 7th century B.C. The island is free of any humidity and has fresh air with plenty of oxygen. The Greek historian Strabon was right when he remarked of Datca's weather: "God would send his beloved servants to Datca to live longer." According to a myth, while the Spanish pirates were passing by the coast of Datca, they left people with Hansen's disease at Sariliman Bay. Surprisingly, these abandoned people recovered from their disease owing to the therapeutic effect of the clean weather of Datca! You may take a walk down the Datca Harbour.

Knidos (Cnidus)

We will cruise to Cnidus for dinner and an overnight stay. Cnidus was a city advanced in the fields of science, art, and architecture. Eudoxos, a very popular astronomer and maths professor, Dr. Euryphon, Polygontos, a popular painter, Skopas and Bryaksis of Faros, the most famous sculptors of the era, Sostrates, the architect of the Alexandrian lighthouse one of the seven wonders of the world and Ktesias, the doctor who saved the life of a Persian king from a disaster, lived on this island. Dr. Euryphon and his students founded the second biggest medical science school in Cnidus. The island also hosts the largest sun clock of its time which was erected by Eudoksos. Knidos was the home for Aphrodite's monument and in those times the city was famous for brothels and became popular for sailors and Arabic tradesmen. You may take a walk on the shore to see the ruins.

7 Day

Poyraz Bay

Divers and snorkelers seeking some variety will love the Poyraz Bay area, where a lot of different sea life coexist in a continuous struggle for survival. Here you will find octopus, moray eels, starfish and many different sizes and types of fish, as well as amazing rock formations and fragments of ancient times.

Aquarium Bay (Adabogazi)

Akvaryum Bay is a pristine cove with long sandy beaches and aquamarine waters. This amazing bay located between Bitez and Gumbet provides an amazing respite during your Blue Cruise voyage. Enjoy a relaxing respite in an explorable cove within the bay area and watch as ducks and geese join you in these amazing waters. Dinner and overnight stay will be Aquarium Bay.
